About Us
Founded in 1944, the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science develops philanthropic support for the Weizmann Institute in Israel, and advances its mission of science for the future of humanity.
Formally known as the Feinberg Graduate School, we’re dedicated to advancing science education and shaping the future of scientific discovery. Through both physical and virtual gateways, we’re opening our world to share the thrill of innovation and inspire the next generation of scientists, fostering a vibrant community driven by curiosity and creativity.
The American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science seeks to reconnect with FGS alumni, recognizing the vital role of strong connections and community. Stay in touch to receive updates on groundbreaking research and learn about Weizmann events happening near you!
Founded through the generosity of philanthropist William Davidson, the Davidson Institute offers dynamic programs for a broad range of learners—including gifted students, at-risk youth, girls, and frequently underrepresented groups. The Institute also provides continuing education for teachers and international online courses that bring science to life for all.
Every summer since 1969, talented high-school graduates accepted into the Dr. Bessie F. Lawrence International Summer Science Institute come to campus and pursue their own research alongside Weizmann scientists.
Festivals, workshops, mobile science labs, Science on Tap, and an interactive, outdoor science museum: the Institute truly offers science for all.
The Weizmann Institute is fully dedicated to supporting and advancing women in science. This means providing guidance and resources to help women reach their full potential at the Institute and in their scientific careers.
