Dr. Sivan Refaely-Abramson is a materials scientist and incumbent of the Leah Omenn Career Development Chair at the Weizmann Institute. After graduating magna cum laude in 2007 with her BSc from Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Exact Sciences Combined Honors Program, Dr. Refaely-Abramson earned her MSc in 2011 and PhD in 2015 from the Weizmann Institute. Following a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, she joined Weizmann’s Department of Molecular Chemistry and Materials Science in 2018 and received critical support through the Abramson Family Center for Young Scientists. She is a member of the steering committee for the Institute’s Artificial Intelligence Enterprise for Scientific Discovery
